My Story
I was adopted at birth by a beautiful woman and named Benjamin Peter Wojat. This turned out to be temporary. The man my mother was with at the time was supposed to adopt me, but he spent the adoption money on a night out with his buddies. She left him, hopped curb, and tended bar until she met a good man — Donald Neuhart — who later married her and adopted me. My name then became Mark Steven Neuhart.At age 7, my life changed dramatically when my adopted father brought a girl into the family. Soon after, we moved from Florida to a small town in Ohio — a major culture shock.I grew up mostly on my own. I had no real friends, was bullied in every school I attended, and bounced between at least 10 different schools. I never did homework and didn’t have a true friend until the 8th grade. That year everything shifted. Instead of taking the bullying, I stood up for myself — and I’ve never backed down since.At 14, I ran away from home. Even camping in my truck. I was on a path to be an outlaw. Hanging with questionable people, out running troopers before I even had a license. But at 17, I joined the Navy and excelled. I was RPOC and Staff personnel. Less than 6 months later, I received an Honorable Discharge with Meritorious recognition.I later married, had three wonderful children, and experienced many adventures. After 19 years, I divorced and spent the next 12 years on a sabbatical — wandering the United States, taking jobs, learning, growing, and moving on.In 2009 I met Anita Witkowski and three years later we married. We purchased a Schnauzer together and have been locked in until this very day.Today, at 67, I’m still active and purposeful. I’m a musician and piano instructor (specializing in teaching by ear and for the blind), a handyman, an EUC rider, racer, and instructor, a drone pilot, and a practitioner of Aikido and Isshin Ryu forms of martial arts. I am also an honorary member of the Foundation for Exceptional Warriors.I serve as Vice President of Jefros Botanicals / BioCu1.com, host of The Mark Neuhart Shows, and founder of MarkForceGlobal.
